The best spirits for big-batch cocktails

Create delicious big-batch vodka cocktails with Haku Vodka. From ultra-premium whisky maker House of Suntory, this craft Japanese white rice vodka is double-distilled and filtered through bamboo charcoal for a clean taste with a hint of natural sweetness.

Aussie gin is a must-have for home cocktail making and here’s one from Sydney distillery Archie Rose that tastes great in citrus-infused batch cocktails. Made with native sunrise lime sustainably harvested in WA, the Sunrise Lime Gin also has notes of orange, mandarin and cumquat.

Bring some heat into play in your batch cocktails with Ghost Tequila Spicy. Made from 100% blue agave produced sustainably in Jalisco, Mexico, this smooth tequila is spiced with spiky bhut jolokia – also known as Ghost peppers. This super-hot chilli can measure more than 1 million Scoville Heat Units (SHU), compared with 2500-8000 SHU for the spicy margarita staple jalapeños.

Get ready to experiment with more batch whisky cocktails using Morris Signature Australian Single Malt Whisky. From a family-run distillery in Rutherglen, Vic, this full-flavoured and fruity whisky is matured in fortified wine barrels from the Barossa and Coonawarra wine regions.

Made in the alpine region of Chambery, France to a recipe containing more than 50 cool-climate herbs, Dolin Vermouth Rouge is fantastic for adding depth of flavour to your batch cocktails.
